About this cartridge type
Large-diameter high-flow cartridges (about 6-inch OD) use inside-to-outside flow through pleated polypropylene, so one element carries the flow of many 2.5-inch cartridges and holds the dirt inside during change-out. The HHFC series has a handle for push/pull installation, an O-ring seal and EPDM gaskets as standard. Before you switch, compare length, micron rating type (absolute vs nominal), seal material and your vessel's element style.
